Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and monitor HSE/ESMS programs.

Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.

Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.

Ensure regulatory compliance.
-
Deliver safety training and awareness.
-
Support ESG and sustainability initiatives.
-
Manage emergency preparedness and reporting.
-
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
-
Minimum 6 years relevant HSE experience.
-
Strong knowledge of telecoms/construction/infrastructure operations.
-
Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
-
Required Certifications
-
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory.

Membership of ISPON (Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria) –Strongly Preferred.

Preferred Certifications
-
ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
-
ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification.
-
IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Membership.
-
Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis Certification.
-
Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification Training (HIRA/JSA/JHA).

First Aid, Emergency Response and Fire Safety Certification.

ESG / Sustainability Training.
-
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification (added advantage)

ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification (added advantage).

Ideal Candidate Profile
-
NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 , ISO 14001,ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISPON Member, IOSH Membership, and 6+ years of infrastructure, construction, engineering or operational HSE experience.
