HR Specialist
Molex is seeking an HR Specialist to support our Singapore office by delivering a high-quality employee experience while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This role provides HR coordination, office administration, facilities support, employee engagement activities, and HR project support to help create a productive and positive workplace environment.
The position serves as a primary on-site contact for office operations while partnering closely with HR and business leaders on people-related initiatives.
This role also provides opportunities to take on broader HR projects and responsibilities as capability and business needs develop.
Our Team
You will be part of the Human Resources team supporting employees based in our Singapore Westgate office. Working closely with HR partners, business leaders, and external vendors, you will help execute HR programs and foster a positive workplace culture while supporting business objectives.
What You Will Do
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Own the end-to-end execution of assigned local HR processes, including performance management, talent reviews, learning cycles, workforce movements, and annual people programs, ensuring timely and consistent delivery in line with regional standards.
- Manage assigned recruitment portfolios from role intake through offer and onboarding, advising hiring managers on sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, selection decisions, and hiring governance.
- Lead onboarding, employee movement, and offboarding processes, coordinating documentation, systems, stakeholder actions, and employee communications while resolving exceptions and process gaps.
- Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, interpreting HR policies and employment practices, providing practical guidance, and escalating sensitive or complex matters with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Maintain governance over assigned employee records, HR data, reports, and process documentation, conducting regular quality checks and driving corrective actions to strengthen accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Analyse workforce data and employee trends, develop dashboards and management insights, and recommend evidence-based actions to address risks, improve service delivery, and support people decisions.
- Lead assigned HR projects and local implementation of regional initiatives by defining deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and risks, and monitoring outcomes.
- Identify policy, process, and employee-experience gaps; develop recommendations and implement sustainable improvements using stakeholder feedback, data, and operational insights.
- Design and deliver employee engagement, recognition, wellness, communication, and development initiatives, establishing success measures and evaluating effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Administrative Support & Workplace Management
- Oversee assigned workplace services and act as the escalation point for operational issues, ensuring service continuity, effective resolution, and a positive employee experience.
- Manage workplace vendors, purchase orders, invoices, service standards, and expenditure within assigned scope, addressing performance gaps and identifying cost or process efficiencies.
- Partner with building management, facilities providers, and internal stakeholders on workplace safety, business continuity, compliance requirements, and office improvement initiatives.
- Plan and deliver leadership visits, employee events, workshops, and business meetings, managing requirements, stakeholders, budgets, risks, and post-event follow-up.
Other Duties
- Review assigned HR policies, standard operating procedures, and controls; recommend updates and translate requirements into clear, workable local practices.
- Support statutory, internal, RBA, and other audits by preparing evidence, assessing gaps, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Represent the local HR function in assigned cross-functional or regional workstreams and provide subject-matter input within the role’s areas of responsibility.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent HR experience).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience across key employee lifecycle activities.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to independently manage HR processes, projects, and stakeholder relationships.
- Solid understanding of HR operations, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and engagement practices.
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience using HR data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to advise employees and managers.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; HRIS experience is an advantage.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and continuous improvement minded.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Professional HR certification or active progress towards accreditation, such as IHRP, SHRM, CIPD, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Relevant training in employment legislation, HR analytics, project management, process improvement, or change management.
- Experience in a multinational, manufacturing, engineering, or commercial office environment supporting diverse employee groups and regional stakeholders.
