About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources functions within our manufacturing operations in Ibadan.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment and possess a thorough understanding of labor laws, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes for factory and administrative staff.
- Oversee employee relations and handle disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate training and capacity-building programs to improve workforce productivity.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare HR reports for management.
- Drive employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
- Support compensation and benefits administration.
- Partner with department heads to identify workforce needs and succession planning opportunities.
- Manage attendance, leave administration, and workforce scheduling where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- 5-8 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing/factory environment.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and industrial relations.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
