About the Role

As HR Manager at CFAO Mobility in South Africa, you will partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor to optimise individual and organisational effectiveness by developing and managing holistic HR solutions that empower the business to achieve its objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead by example in contributing to a culture that builds rewarding relationships and delivers exceptional internal client service.
  • Collaborate with business and HR leadership to design, plan and implement HR solutions across the employee lifecycle in alignment with CFAO/Toyota practice frameworks.
  • Guide business leaders in aligning HR solutions to short-, medium- and long-term requirements.
  • Stay informed on HR trends, legislation and best practices to optimise service delivery.
  • Liaise with business to identify current and future recruitment needs; review manpower requirements and vacancies; ensure recruitment headcount aligns with the hire plan.
  • Develop, update and manage onboarding and orientation processes; maintain recruitment databases and supplier payments.
  • Advise on development and performance management; coordinate performance appraisal and training plans.
  • Contribute to salary surveys and benchmarks; advise on compensation practices aligned to BU strategy.
  • Manage employee relations practices and promote group values to shape company culture.
  • Support the employee journey from start to exit with HR solutions (talent management, induction, onboarding, performance excellence, industrial relations, engagement and exit management).
  • Lead the design and implementation of key HR and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and HR governance; gather metrics to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and develop staff to support organisational growth and cross-functional teamwork.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7 years HR generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing/supply chain environment.
  • Degree in HRM, business, social or behavioural science.
  • Relevant post-graduate degree (Advantageous).
  • Registration with HPCSA (Advantageous).
  • Intermediate computer literacy.

  • Post-graduate degree advantageous.
  • HPCSA registration advantageous.
