Aspom Travel Agency – HR Manager
Job Title: HR Manager Location: Agungi, Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage employee onboarding, confirmation, probation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, punctuality, conduct, and general workplace behaviour.
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance appraisals, staff evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, warning letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.
- Identify staff training and development needs and coordinate training programmes.
- Work with management to develop staffing plans, organizational structures, and workforce strategies.
- Monitor employee compensation, benefits, HMO, leave entitlements, and other staff welfare matters.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labour laws and company policies.
- Provide management with HR reports, staff updates, recommendations, and workforce insights.
- Promote a positive, professional, productive, and accountable workplace culture.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information.
- Support management in making decisions relating to staffing, employee performance, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Supervise HR Officers and other administrative staff where applicable.
- Perform other HR-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- B.Sc., HND, or equivalent in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HR management tools.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities effectively and work with minimal supervision.
Salary
- N250,000 - N450,000 monthly.
