HR Generalist
Leddy Group is seeking a HR Generalist for a manufacturing company in Rochester, NH. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented human resources professional to play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, employee engagement, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative manufacturing environment and partnering with employees and leadership to support workforce and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of recruiting, including candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding using applicant tracking systems.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and reporting.
- Assist with employee relations matters, counseling discussions, exit interviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring a high level of confidentiality.
- Coordinate and execute internal communications and site communication initiatives.
- Maintain internal company communication platforms and related applications.
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events and employee recognition activities.
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Partner with production teams to understand staffing and workforce needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting and payroll administration.

Experience supporting non-exempt employees preferred.

Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

Experience working with HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and human resources best practices.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

This role offers $75K-$85K/year, DOE.
