About the Role

As an HR Business Partner primarily supporting our Product and Engineering teams, you’ll partner with leaders to drive people strategies that enable business success. You’ll work closely with managers and leaders, providing thoughtful guidance on a wide range of people topics while helping to build engaged, high-performing teams. This role blends hands-on execution with growing strategic exposure, and values strong follow-through and high-quality work.

What You'll Do

• Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing guidance on people topics while balancing business needs with employee experience

• Manage employee relations matters, handling standard issues independently and partnering with Senior HRBPs and Employee Relations on more complex cases

• Support and coach managers through performance management, development conversations, and team effectiveness

• Lead talent processes such as performance cycles, talent planning, and succession discussions

• Partner with Recruiting and cross-functional stakeholders to support workforce planning and headcount management

• Lead and execute team-level organizational changes, ensuring thoughtful planning, clear communication, and alignment with broader organizational goals

• Use data and insights to identify trends and inform recommendations, with support as needed

• Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance the impact and scalability of the HRBP function

• Be prepared for additional tasks as needed in Etsy’s dynamic environment

• What We're Looking For

• 3–6+ years of experience in HR, with experience in HR Business Partnering or similar roles

• A strong relationship builder who influences through trust, clear communication, and sound judgment

• A thoughtful problem solver who connects business priorities, people strategies, and data to drive effective outcomes

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple initiatives

• Skilled at managing sensitive situations with discretion, confidence, and empathy

• Experience coaching managers and supporting teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments

• Nice to Have

• Salary range: $117,000 - $153,000 per year
