About this role

About the Role The HR Business Partner (HRBP) provides consultation to Uniseal management and team members across a broad range of HR functions, including work culture, performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training & development, recruitment, process improvement, and team member recognition. The role partners with leadership to plan, implement, and coordinate HR programs and initiatives that support organizational strategic objectives, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. What You'll Do

  • Advise and assist management and team members with HR activities such as recruitment/interviewing and hiring, interpretation of personnel policies, employee relations, leaves, performance management, recognition, work culture, benefits, and training & development
  • Partner with management to diagnose work culture issues, develop strategies, and guide implementation of solutions
  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key managers to understand HR needs across business units
  • Respond to team member concerns by interpreting HR policies and delivering training
  • Demonstrate a focus on diversity and fostering diversity at all levels
  • Analyze HR data and trends, including labor spending, hiring, retention, and HR metrics; develop and implement interventions
  • Coach and develop managers in handling employee relations issues
  • Develop and administer training programs to build high performance teams
  • Assist in workplace investigations
  • Monitor performance evaluation processes and goal setting in HRIS; coordinate annual HR trainings and leadership development plans
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Assist with benefits administration activities such as open enrollment and changes
  • Manage/monitor FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and unemployment cases/claims
  • Participate in check-in, stay, and exit interview programs
  • Onboard new team members and initiate a Leadership Development Plan whenever a position lacks a documented training program
  • Work on various production shifts and weekends as required
  • Manage mentoring program
  • Manage employment verification inquiries, visitors, and incoming traffic to the HR office
  • Administer employment-related activities including employment verification What We're Looking For
  • Proven HR generalist experience advising management and employees across HR functions
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, policy interpretation, leaves, performance management, benefits, training, and development
  • Ability to diagnose work culture issues, develop strategies, and drive solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with managers and stakeholders
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusive practices
  • Analytical mindset with ability to explore data, identify trends, and implement interventions; experience with HR metrics
  • Experience coaching managers and handling employee relations issues
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs and leadership development
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations
  • Proficiency with HRIS and maintaining performance evaluation processes; ensuring compliance with employment laws and policies
  • Experience benefits administration, FMLA/ADA/STD/LTD and unemployment claims
  • Ability to manage varying shifts and weekend work
