Job Description
In the Rhineland you will find us, Sempell GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Emerson. Sempell GmbH is a global leading valve manufacturer supplying conventional and nuclear power plants as well as the chemical industry with control, safety and isolation valves.
In this role you are responsible for:
- Supporting the HR Manager and departments in implementing annual HR initiatives
- Conducting the annual salary round for the assigned group
- Ensuring implementation and follow-up of the communication plan and internal employee surveys
- Supporting the HR Manager in advising and supporting leaders in implementing and complying with all legal, collective bargaining and company regulations and personnel measures
- Implementing, executing and following up on all HR processes, policies and strategies in the area of responsibility
- Coordinating recruitment activities including onboarding
- Collaboration with works council
- Full support of a defined employee group including all administrative tasks
- Ensuring correct payroll for a defined group
Your profile:
You build trust, network, and can find solutions discreetly and with little attention. Your communication is effective and tailored to situations. You approach difficult and complex topics with optimism and self-confidence and focus on the essential.
Requirements
- Experience in payroll is mandatory
- Strong communication, consulting and sparring skills, with empathy and assertiveness
- Independent, structured, reliable work style, hands-on mentality and flexibility
- Good knowledge of collective bargaining, labor and social security law as well as Office suite
- Good English written and spoken
- Very good German written and spoken
Preferred qualifications:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally further training to HR administrator
- Relevant professional experience
- Experience in an international matrix organization
- Relevant HR experience
