Job Description

Advance Services Inc. is looking to hire a Bilingual HR Clerk!

A day-to-day look:

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned farm operations, providing day-to-day guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Build strong working relationships with operational leadership and employees to understand workforce needs and provide practical HR solutions.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee development, performance management, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Partner with managers to identify staffing needs, workforce gaps, retention concerns, and opportunities to improve employee engagement.
  • Conduct and support employee relations investigations, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly, consistently, and in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to supervisors on attendance, performance concerns, corrective action, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist leadership with developing and implementing performance improvement plans and other performance management initiatives.
  • Monitor employee attendance, turnover, overtime, staffing levels, and other workforce trends; identify areas of concern and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of HR training programs, including supervisor training, workplace policies, employee relations, harassment prevention, safety, and compliance.
  • Ensure employee records, personnel documentation, and HR processes are maintained accurately and in accordance with company requirements.
  • Support compliance with federal and state employment laws, agricultural labor requirements, OSHA standards, and other applicable regulations.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and requests for employment documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and operational leadership to support recruiting efforts, candidate selection, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement solutions that increase efficiency, employee satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
  • Travel to assigned farm locations as needed to provide on-site HR support and maintain strong relationships with operational teams.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study (or equivalent experience)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English Required
  • 2 Years of HR Experience
  • Ability to travel to farm sites
  • Familiarity with agriculture labor laws and OSHA
