Description

  • Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented HR Assistant to support the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative functions of the organization.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to ensure efficient HR operations, employee support, documentation, recruitment, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with attendance, leave, welfare, and employee-related matters.
  • Prepare HR letters, memos, reports, and other official documentation.
  • Support employee relations and help address staff concerns appropriately.
  • Assist with payroll-related documentation, PAYE, pension, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate staff training, orientation, and other employee development activities.
  • Support performance management and probation reviews.
  • Assist with expatriate employee documentation and immigration-related processes where required.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and external service providers when necessary.
  • Support general office administration and other HR/Admin duties assigned by Management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant HR/Admin experience.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian HR practices and employment procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and general computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with expatriate employees will be an advantage.
  • Experience in the mining, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or other industrial sectors will be an advantage.
  • Government liaison and immigration documentation experience will be an added advantage.
