About the Role Join our team in Brackenfell as an HR Administrator Intern for a 12-month internship. You will gain practical HR experience across administration, recruitment coordination and learning & development, while supporting ongoing HR processes and employee programmes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to develop professional HR skills in a hands-on environment. What You'll Do
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding administration; prepare employment documentation and employee correspondence; maintain employee files and HR records; capture and update HR information systems; assist with leave, probation and employee administration.
- Support recruitment activities: draft and post job advertisements; screen applications; shortlist candidates; schedule interviews; coordinate psychometric assessments and assessment bookings; prepare interview packs and recruitment documentation; communicate professionally with candidates; maintain recruitment trackers; assist with pre-employment administration (reference checks, qualification verification, onboarding documentation).
- Enablement & Employee Experience: coordinate training sessions and workshops; schedule venues and Microsoft Teams sessions; prepare attendance registers and training material; assist with employee engagement initiatives and wellness activities; support surveys and internal HR communications; assist with preparing presentation material and HR reports.
- Programme Rotation: understand and participate in rotations covering employee records, onboarding and HR systems; interview coordination, assessments and recruitment administration; training coordination and learning administration. What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Industrial Psychology or a related field; an Honours degree is advantageous.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Teams; familiarity with Microsoft Forms and HR information systems is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational ability, high attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, customer-service orientation, and a willingness to learn and take initiative. Nice to Have
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Forms/Teams is advantageous.
