- We are looking for an HR & Admin Officer to support the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources department, handling tasks such as maintaining personnel records, updating databases, and assisting in the hiring process in Ikeja, Lagos. We are seeking a highly capable HR & Admin Officer to join our team and provide comprehensive support to our Human Resources department. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing employee data, keeping company policies up-to-date, and assisting in the hiring process. Your exceptional organizational skills and familiarity with HR functions will contribute to the smooth running of all HR operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organization. Your attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be essential in this role. Responsibilities

Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts

Update internal databases with new employee information

Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies

Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days

Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed

Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department

Develop training and onboarding material

Respond to employees’ questions about benefits (for example, the number of vacation days they’re eligible for)

Requirements & Skills

BSc Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant fields

Work experience as an HR & Admin Officer, HR Administrative Assistant, or similar roles

Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

Basic knowledge of labour law

Experience using spreadsheets & Microsoft Office Suite

Organizational skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
