About the Role

Live Nation's US Concerts is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to keep The Fillmore Detroit venue show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This role performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the venue's business goals and objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, restocking restroom paper materials and hygiene products, and ensuring guest areas are free of trash.
  • Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program (sorting waste, collecting recycling, educating fans about sustainability).
  • Partner with fellow team members at the end of shows to close the venue (collect recyclables, store event equipment such as chairs, barricade, etc.).
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance tasks.
