Role Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms and public areas maintain high cleanliness standards while providing excellent hospitality service. The role focuses on room preparation, guest assistance, cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a welcoming environment following hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Room & Facility Cleaning

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas.

Perform deep cleaning tasks such as:

Carpet cleaning.
-
Tile scrubbing.
-
Bathroom detailing.
-
Window and balcony cleaning.
-
Replace:
-
Linens.
-
Towels.
-
Guest amenities.
-
Keep housekeeping carts and linen storage areas organized.
-
Remove trash and soiled linens.
Guest Service
- Provide friendly service with an “Aloha Spirit.”
- Respond to guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Maintain guest privacy, security, and confidentiality.
- Report valuable items or suspicious situations.
- Assist guests with information and service needs.
Maintenance & Safety
- Report maintenance issues and room deficiencies.
- Replace light bulbs when needed.
- Follow hotel safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies correctly.
- Complete special cleaning projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements
The role requires:
