About Our Family
-
We are a warm, active family of empty nesters based in Draper, Utah, with grown children and four grandchildren who live nearby and are a regular, joyful presence in our home. Family is at the heart of our lives, and we love having a home that feels welcoming, comfortable, and ready for the moments that bring everyone together. Our days are full but unhurried in the best way. Mornings are generally reserved for exercise, hiking, and personal routines, while afternoons tend to bring a livelier rhythm of appointments, family visits, household needs, and coordinating the many details that keep life moving smoothly.
-
Our household extends well beyond our primary residence in Utah. We also maintain a winter home in Arizona, a summer home in Montana, and three rental properties in the surrounding Utah area. This is an especially meaningful season of transition for our family. We are navigating significant health challenges with remarkable grace and humor, and we are looking for additional support that brings greater ease, consistency, and peace of mind to our daily lives. We are also looking ahead to new experiences, including law school classes and a major family trip in the works. Having someone who can anticipate needs, manage logistics, and help us stay organized through these changing demands would make a tremendous difference.
-
We are a traditional family with strong values, and honesty, trust, discretion, and respect are essential to how we live and work with others. We take our privacy seriously and appreciate someone who understands the importance of maintaining clear professional boundaries and handling personal and household matters with care. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and highly organized, with the confidence to work independently and the judgment to know when to take initiative and when to communicate. Above all, we hope to find a true partner who takes pride in creating a home and family life that feel well cared for, thoughtfully managed, and full of warmth.
-
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
-
Our ideal candidate is calm, steady, and genuinely unflappable. A careful and attentive listener, you pick up on nuance, remember the small details, and follow through without needing reminders. Warm without being overbearing, professional without being stiff, and flexible without being unreliable, you know how to read a room, respect personal boundaries, and bring a grounded, reassuring presence to the day, even when plans change.
-
The right person will enjoy bringing order to a busy, multifaceted household, building trusted relationships with vendors and service providers, coordinating details across multiple properties, and helping family visits and special plans come together seamlessly. You are proactive, resourceful, and naturally organized, with the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and navigate unexpected changes with sound judgment. Confidence working independently is balanced by thoughtful communication and an understanding of when to bring decisions back to the family. You bring your skills and good judgment to the role while remaining adaptable and receptive to the family's preferences, understanding that what worked elsewhere may not work here. Creating systems and solutions that make everyday life easier is a source of genuine pride.
-
Discretion, honesty, and integrity are at the heart of this role. You understand the importance of privacy, handle sensitive matters with care, and communicate openly when something goes sideways, focusing on solutions rather than blame. More than simply completing tasks, exceptional household management means reducing mental load, creating continuity, and helping a family feel genuinely cared for. You thrive in a role where no two days look exactly alike and find real satisfaction in being the steady, trusted presence who keeps things organized, anticipates what's next, and brings greater ease and peace of mind to the family's daily life.
