About the Role This is a research position participating in a large-scale study aimed at helping individuals living with chronic musculoskeletal pain. The role includes leading group classes that teach evidence-based strategies for self-management of pain. What You'll Do
- Lead individuals with arthritis in a walking program
- Lead a group and facilitate engagement and motivation
- Communicate clearly and problem-solve challenges to sustained participation What We're Looking For
- Interest in helping individuals manage chronic musculoskeletal pain
- Ability to lead group activities and communicate clearly
- Problem-solving skills to boost engagement and attendance
- Minimum qualifications: 1 year of higher education can substitute for 1 year of directly related work experience (e.g., bachelor’s degree = 4 years related experience). Department may hire at Research Assistant I, II, or III depending on experience Nice to Have
- Experience leading individuals with arthritis in a walking program

- Pay rate: $14/hr DOE
- Part-time schedule up to 10 hours/week
