Hotel Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Manager to lead the overall operations of a hotel in Benin City. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences, managing and motivating staff, controlling budgets, and maintaining the hotel’s standards and reputation. This is a leadership role that suits someone who is hands-on, service-minded, and commercially aware.
Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security

Deliver excellent guest service and resolve complaints promptly and professionally

Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise hotel staff

Prepare and manage the hotel’s operating budget, controlling costs and maximizing revenue

Monitor occupancy, revenue performance, and key hospitality metrics, and report to management
-
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain guests

Ensure cleanliness, safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulatory standards

Manage supplier and vendor relationships and procurement

Maintain high standards of service, facility upkeep, and brand reputation

Prepare regular performance and operations reports for ownership/management

Qualifications and requirements

HND/B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years’ hotel or hospitality management experience
-
Strong leadership, people management, and guest-service skills
-
Ability to manage staff, budgets, and day-to-day operations
-
Good knowledge of hotel management or property management software
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours
