Hot Rolling Mill Operator

Department INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Pay From $27.60 per hour
Schedule Will work on a rotating shift.
Purpose:
- Performs simple tasks such as assisting ferroalloy and lime additions, assisting in change over or cleaning the scrap yard, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Activities:
- Performs miscellaneous simple tasks such as bar, billet and pipe handling, tools change or assistance on machine lock outs and tag outs.
- Carries out material and equipment movements and cleaning or ordering activities
- Performs forklift or radio control crane operation when applicable.
- Assists in any job.
