We are seeking a growth-minded Internal Medicine physician to divide clinical time between inpatient hospitalist medicine and complex urgent care for seniors. This unique role is centered on caring for medically complex patients in innovative ways, including providing high-acuity outpatient alternatives to hospitalization. A majority of shifts are inpatient hospitalist shifts, with the remaining shifts in complex urgent care.
Primary Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in adult medicine, such as hospitalist practice or a similar setting, along with experience caring for high-acuity, medically complex patients.
- Hospitalist care: The hospitalist team is well supported and works closely with ICU, emergency department, specialty, and palliative care partners. The team also has strong ties to the Washington State University residency program, with residents rotating through the service.
