About the Role The Hospital Unit Service Coordinator (HUSC) functions as the focal communications source within the patient care unit and performs administrative tasks aimed at positive patient care outcomes. Under the direction of the Patient Care Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse, this role supports collaboration among care team members and enhances communication to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the focal communications source within the patient care unit and perform administrative functions aimed at positive patient care outcomes.
- Support a cooperative working relationship with physicians, other disciplines, and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication.
- Demonstrate honesty, respect, and sensitivity to cultural differences; accept and provide feedback in a professional manner.
- Foster a harmonious work environment and support learning new skills to meet patient needs and deliver high-quality care.
