Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the volunteer training and orientation program for Phoenix.
- Provide volunteers with assignments. Reviews plan of care (if necessary) before patient visit.
- Maintain volunteer personnel files.
- Attend meeting and activities.
- Maintain monthly stats.
- Foster open line of communication with volunteers
- Periodic supervisory visits
- Volunteer performance evaluations
- Ensuring time sheets and visit notes are completed and submitted.
- Review visit notes to ensure the plan of care is being followed.
- Assume responsibility for self-development by continually striving to improve practice through formal education, workshops, conferences, and professional organizations.
Requirements

Supervisory and/or leadership experience

Hospice experience preferred

Ability to communicate well; both verbally and in writing

Must be reliable, have a great attitude, and possess a strong work-ethic

Must be detailed, accurate, organized and have the ability to multi-task
