About the Role We’re seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients and support to their families in a home-care setting in the Canton area. This per diem position focuses on assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring comfort and quality of life throughout the end-of-life journey. What You'll Do
- Assess patients’ needs and monitor symptoms to manage comfort and quality of life
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team
- Administer medications and provide wound care, palliative interventions, and hospice services as appropriate
- Educate and support patients’ families, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, and document care plans
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home settings, including after-hours coverage as required What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year in an acute care setting or comparable work experience required
- Minimum of one year hospice experience required
- Minimum of one year oncology and home care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills; able to work independently in home settings Nice to Have
- Oncology and home care experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation based on experience: $360.00 - $376.00 per day (based on an 8-hour day), plus evening and weekend differential
- Per diem position; schedule may vary across the Canton area
