About the Role Join VNA Care as a Hospice CNA at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, MA. You will provide personal care to terminally ill patients under a licensed clinician, following an established Plan of Care and maintaining confidentiality. What You'll Do
- Provide personal care to patients under the direction of a licensed clinician.
- Follow an established Plan of Care and standard precautions.
- Document care provided in a timely manner.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a caring and professional way.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, family, and caregiver information.
- Work 24-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with one weekend per month. What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Massachusetts CNA certification.
- Understanding of and experience with end-of-life care.
- Ability to observe changes in a patient's status.
- Successful completion of the required training program (minimum 75 hours, competency testing, written skills) and 12 hours in-service per year (pro-rated the first year). Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate: $21.00 per hour, plus evening differential.
