About the Role The HOP! Aircraft Technician - Escale Technique at Pau is responsible for on-wing maintenance on the HOP! fleet and third‑party aircraft at Pau‑Pyrénées airport. The role ensures technical availability and flight safety by performing scheduled and non‑scheduled maintenance in compliance with current regulations. What You'll Do
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft as defined by the Part MR and operator requirements.
- Diagnose and repair unscheduled issues, conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, and ensure works are completed at the base.
- Apply applicable aircraft documentation and regulations, and coordinate with external intervention teams on site.
- Certify performed work, update log-books (AMOS and other documents), and report aircraft availability to the operator and hierarchy.
- Support logistical operations at the escale and participate in the upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by feeding back experiences (REX) and proposing changes.
- Uphold SMS responsibilities: ensure safety, regulatory compliance, effective communication, and personnel health. What We're Looking For
- Education: Minimum Bac pro + MSC; eligible Part 66
- Experience: More than 5 years in aircraft maintenance
- Technical: Knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations and security rules; English level B1
- IT/Tools: Proficiency in Pack Office, AMOS, and the specific job software
- Certifications: Part 66 license (B1 and/or B2), APRS; QT avion; eligible for airport security badge; valid B driving license
- Behavioral: Adaptability, rigor, autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, proactivity, sense of responsibility
- Contract: CDI; start date 01/10/2026; shift work (décalé)
