Job title: Home Medical Equipment Delivery Driver (12 months contract)
About the Role The Home Medical Equipment Delivery Driver is a 12-month contract role based in Sudbury, Ontario, responsible for delivering, setting up, and collecting home medical and oxygen equipment for clients. You will also ensure safety, complete regulatory paperwork, and provide product education to clients.
What You'll Do
- Deliver, set up, and pick up home medical and oxygen equipment within assigned route promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
- Safely load and unload equipment at delivery sites, upholding high safety standards.
- Identify and communicate safety hazards at delivery locations.
- Complete TDG documentation and Vehicle Inspection Reports as required.
- Perform routine equipment assessments and identify potential repairs at customer sites.
- Provide product education and supporting documentation to clients as per company procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain good housekeeping and complete daily inventory tasks.
- Work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; be available for after-hours and on-call emergency service.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent experience; valid driver's license with a clean record.
- 12 months of relevant driving experience and 1 year in customer service.
- Demonstrate safety orientation and ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
- Comply with internal policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Able to set priorities, meet tight deadlines; proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Comfortable using smartphone technology; strong attention to detail.
- Work well in a team environment with strong customer focus.
- Dependable, accountable, and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Compensation & Benefits
