About the Role Become a part of our caring CenterWell Home Health team as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist serving patients in the Iowa City area. This role offers flexible scheduling and delivers home-based care to help patients regain strength, mobility and independence from the comfort of their homes. What You'll Do
- Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility.
- Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
- Utilize professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate and minimize effects of such disorders and conditions.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments including audiologic screening.
- Observe, record and report changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment to supervisor and/or the appropriate team. What We're Looking For
- Experience in evaluating and providing speech-language pathology services to patients in home health or clinical settings.
- Ability to participate in development and review of Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
- Proficiency in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing; conducting diagnostic tests and audiologic screening.
- Strong communication and collaboration with supervisors and care teams.
- Flexible scheduling and per diem availability.
