About the Role The Highway Project Manager will deliver all project objectives for assigned highway projects at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT). This full-time onsite role oversees planning, scope, schedule, budget, team coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management, resource management, quality assurance, and reporting. What You'll Do
- Manage projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget; collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants; monitor progress and communicate status to stakeholders
- Develop project-specific Project Management Plans and Quality Management Plans; create and maintain project schedules
- Manage subconsultants; monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and develop extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals
- Communicate project status and issues to internal and external stakeholders; participate in project financial status meetings; prepare progress reports and review invoices
- Build relationships with clients to understand requirements and deliver a high-quality project; assist with marketing processes including SMART Go/No Go decisions, proposal development, and interviews
- Coordinate and guide all technical resources within the project team to ensure delivery of a high-quality project What We're Looking For
- ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of engineering/project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CAPM or PMP certification preferred Nice to Have
