Job title: High School Special Education Teacher
About the Role The Special Education High role focuses on K12-powered virtual high schools and personalized learning programs. You will be responsible for designing program structure and resources to maximize the special education experience for students and learning coaches, and for building strong relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure progress across the program.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage the program structure and resources to optimize the special education experience for students and learning coaches.
- Build and maintain relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to monitor progress and support success in the program.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accessibility and personalized learning for K-12 virtual high school students.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-1 year of related professional experience in special education or related field.
- Interest or experience with K-12 virtual schooling and learning programs.
