About the Role Green Dot is seeking 2026-27 High School Physics Teachers to deliver rigorous physics instruction aligned with Common Core and Green Dot’s instructional methodologies. This role emphasizes data-driven planning, community partnerships, and professional growth within a supportive network.

- Engage in data-driven planning and assessment of student learning
- Establish a culture of respect and rapport with the students which supports the students’ emotional safety
- Facilitate rigorous learning by delivering cognitively engaging lessons that incorporate our instructional methodologies
- Engage in critical reflection, constantly revising practice to increase effectiveness
- Participate in a professional community across your school site and the Green Dot network
- Develop partnerships within the community by communicating with families and bringing to bear resources that support student success in college, leadership, and life
What We're Looking For
- Have a bachelor’s degree (required)
- Growth mindset and love of learning
- Strong content knowledge and pedagogical understanding, and ability to plan and deliver instruction to meet student needs
- High standards for quality execution and personal responsibility toward ambitious goals
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication
- Strong ethical base and self-awareness; dependable, humble, sense of humor; commitment to Green Dot’s mission
- Willingness to pass TB test and background check at time of offer
Nice to Have
- California Single Subject credential in Physics or eligibility for Intern/STSP/PIP credentials (by July 2026)
- CPR certification meeting AHA/Red Cross standards
- Experience with data-driven teaching and family engagement
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary scale ranges from $71,085 to $127,985 for credentialed teachers, depending on education and experience; details available on Green Dot salary calculator
