About the Role The High School Math Teacher will join Stride's General Education High program, which focuses on K12-powered virtual high schools offering 9-12 programs with core, comprehensive, credit recovery, honors, and Advanced Placement online courses and a wide variety of electives. The role emphasizes relationship-building with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure that all students are progressing successfully through the program.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure progress through the virtual program.
- Deliver high school math instruction to grades 9-12 via online courses, including core, honors, AP, and credit recovery pathways.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with families; collaborate with peers and program staff to support student success.
- Contribute to creating a positive and engaging virtual learning experience for students.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- 0-1 year of related professional experience.
- Texas Elementary Teaching Certification required.
- Texas residency required; may consider residents of surrounding areas.
- Ability to work in a virtual learning environment and build strong relationships with families and students.
