Job title: High School Math Teacher
About the Role The remote High School Math Teacher is a highly qualified, state-certified educator responsible for delivering math content to grades 8–12 in an online environment. The role involves providing instruction, support, and guidance, while monitoring progress and collaborating with students and learning coaches to reach established goals. Occasional travel to school functions may be required.
What You'll Do
- Deliver course content for high school math (grades 8–12) in an online environment.
- Provide instruction, support, and guidance; manage the learning process with a focus on each student’s needs.
- Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system.
- Work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance learning toward goals.
- Travel occasionally for school functions such as state testing or as otherwise required by the school.
What We're Looking For
- Math certification for grades 8–12; state-certified educator.
- Experience delivering online/distance learning; familiarity with Stride K12 LMS.
- Strong instructional planning, student progress monitoring, and communication with students and families.
- Ability to work from home and travel occasionally to school functions.
- Knowledge of Indiana reciprocity requirements (e.g., obtain Indiana reciprocity within 60 days if current certification is from another state).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance bonus.
