About the Role Green Dot seeks dedicated High School Biology teachers who will deliver rigorous instruction aligned to Common Core and prepare students for college. This on-site role at our Los Angeles-area Central Office involves fostering an inclusive classroom culture and participating in Green Dot's network of schools. What You'll Do

- Engage in data-driven planning and assessment of student learning
- Establish a culture of respect and rapport with students to support emotional safety
- Deliver cognitively engaging lessons using Green Dot instructional methodologies

- Collaborate within your school site and across the Green Dot network
- Develop partnerships with families and the community to support student success in college, leadership, and life What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Growth mindset and love of learning
- Strong content knowledge, pedagogical understanding, and ability to design lessons to meet student needs
- Commitment to high-quality execution and high standards
- Personal responsibility, motivation, and resilience
- Excellent collaborative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ethics, self-awareness, dependability, humility, and sense of humor
- Willingness to pass TB test and background check at time of offer
- For credentialing, eligibility for California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject credential in Biology, or intern/STSP/PIP pathways, and CPR certification per AHA/Red Cross Nice to Have

- Salary range: $71,085 to $127,985 annually (USD), depending on education and experience.
