Job title: High Lift Equipment Operator
About the Role DHL is seeking a High Lift Equipment Operator to move, stock, pick and count merchandise using high lift reach equipment in a third-shift environment. The role may involve equipment with electronic wire-guided systems at some locations and requires adherence to production standards and safety guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Move, stock, stage, and store products and materials using high lift reach equipment and narrow-aisle equipment, using electronic wire-guided systems where installed.
- Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product are correct.
- Keep accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Report quality variances.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Ensure proper stock rotation.
- Extend to higher levels than on normal forklift equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 6 months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred.
- Ability to operate high lift and narrow-aisle equipment.
- Experience with or willingness to learn electronic wire-guided systems (where installed).
- Commitment to safety (OSHA and MSDS compliance) and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work the third shift and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with physical inventory processes.
- Experience with inventory systems and record-keeping practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.40 per hour, plus $1 shift differential for third shift.
