What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles to Volvo standards.
- Perform servicing, fault finding, and diagnostics using electrical training including Electrics Level 1 & 2, E-Mobility Training, and oscilloscope diagnostics.
- Work as part of a team, maintaining quality and following Volvo processes.
- Ensure safety and compliance with company procedures and schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience working with HGVs or other commercial vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Valid UK driving licence; HGV licence desirable but not essential.
Nice to Have
- Electrically-inclined training or experience (Electrics Level 1 & 2, E-Mobility) and oscilloscope diagnostics experience would be advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
- Up to £23 per hour, dependent upon skill set and experience.
- £2,000 joining bonus payable after 6 months of service for direct applicants.
- Rotating shifts: Mon-Fri 0600-1430 or 1430-2300; optional Saturdays 0700-1300 at overtime rate.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days with service; overtime at time and a half; Sundays/bank holidays double time.
