About the Role
Join Volvo Truck & Bus Centre in Carlisle as an HGV Technician. You will perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles, including electrified systems, to Volvo standards. You’ll be part of a busy Service & Workshop team, contributing to safe, reliable transport solutions. What You'll Do

MOT preparation & inspections

Work on alternative fuel systems and electromobility (LNG, hybrid, full electric) What We're Looking For

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or completed HGV apprenticeship

Experience working on HGVs; strong technical and practical competency

Good written and verbal communication; able to communicate at all levels

Flexible and willing to learn new processes and participate in training

Active team contributor and able to develop new working methods Nice to Have

Experience with electromobility or alternative fuels (LNG, Hybrid, EV) is advantageous Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary £19 per hour + overtime; plus healthcare, contributory pension, Health Cash Plan, Life Insurance
