Class 2 Driver for Food & Glass vehicle
About The Role
Location: Eastbourne
- Salary: £39,393.25 per annum / £16.78 per hour
- Plus - £25.00 per day lone‑worker bonus, which could potentially be £5,000 per year on top of your annual salary
- Bonus: £400 quarterly
- Shift pattern: Monday - Friday working every second Saturday
- Start times: 04:00 am - 14:00 pm

About the role
What will I be doing?
The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.
What are the requirements?
You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.
The role also requires:
- An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
- Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential
- Experience of working with recycling vehicles, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
