About the Role
Procter & Gamble (P&G) are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to operate from the West Thurrock Operating Centre to support freight deliveries to customers and other P&G sites across the UK. This is a 24-hour operation with a 4 on/4 off night shift pattern. Start times range from 16:00 to 03:00, with shifts typically 8 to 12 hours and averaging around 40 hours per week. What You'll Do

Deliver P&G products to customers within the UK.

Operate curtain side drop trailers and unload where required.

Collect loaded trailers at the P&G Plant, check/load, deliver to customers, wait for unloading, and return to the plant.

Potentially shuttle between P&G Distribution Centres in the UK, including skeleton trailer operations with container, delivering to port, lifting off/on container, and returning to the plant. What We're Looking For

Current HGV Class 1 licence and driver CPC.

2 years experience commercially driving Class 1 HGV.

Experience in palletised goods distribution.

No more than 6 points on driving licence and no DD or DR endorsements.

Preferably references from previous employers.

Base Pay: £16.80 per hour; Market Premium: £3.00 per hour; Shift Premium: £4.00 per hour for unsociable hours (17:00-07:00 Weekdays) and all hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Overtime Pay: 1.5x the combined rate of base pay and market premium for overtime hours Monday to Saturday; 2x for overtime hours on Sundays.
