About the Role Operate a truck and drive to projects throughout Houston for the repair, service, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment in the field environment. This will include basic repair knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and engine components. What You'll Do
- Drive to projects in Houston to perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, track hoes, and related heavy highway construction equipment
- Perform a variety of skilled duties involving inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on general heavy construction equipment and heavy trucks
- Weld equipment for repairs
- Operate crane for maintenance and repair work
- Read, understand, and fill out service-related documents and paperwork in a timely manner
