About this role

Hearing Instrument Specialist | Northwest Michigan | $25 Per Hour

Location: Northwest Michigan

Schedule: 2–3 days per week

Compensation: $25 per hour

Position Type: W2

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to provide care across multiple locations throughout Northwest Michigan.

This is a field-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical care team, delivering essential hearing services directly to patients in a consistent, well-supported environment serving senior populations.

If you’re looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with schedule consistency — without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice — this opportunity offers flexibility and strong operational support.

The Setting

This opportunity operates across established long-term care and skilled nursing environments.

  • Facilities have consistent patient volume and support staff
  • Organized scheduling and coordinated patient flow
  • Structured, repeatable weekly routes
  • Focus on serving senior and underserved populations

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.

What You’ll Do

  • • Perform hearing evaluations and assessments within your scope of practice
  • • Assess patients for hearing loss and determine appropriate hearing instrument needs
  • • Fit, program, and adjust hearing instruments
  • • Educate patients and facility staff on hearing instrument use and care
  • • Work alongside facility staff to coordinate patient care
  • • Deliver consistent, high-quality hearing care across assigned locations

What Makes This Different

This is not a traditional retail or private practice model.

Our providers operate in a structured environment with a predictable schedule and consistent patient base.

We emphasize:

  • Quality over volume
  • Consistency and route-based scheduling
  • Full administrative and logistical support
  • Long-term facility partnerships
  • Mission-driven care for senior populations

Qualifications

  • • Experience with geriatric populations preferred
  • • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
  • • Comfortable working in a mobile, multi-location setting

Schedule

  • 2–3 days per week
  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • No nights
  • No weekends
  • No billing or administrative responsibilities

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-founded healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience increasing access to care for senior and underserved communities across 20+ states.
