About the Role Join AudioNova, a Sonova company, as a Hearing Care Professional in Albany, NY. You will perform hearing assessments, discuss options, and support patients in using hearing technology while contributing to community outreach and ongoing care. This role requires NY Hearing Aid Dispensing License; Doctorate in Audiology preferred, or a 3rd/4th year Audiology extern eager to make a difference. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend treatment and product options
- Address questions about benefits of hearing aid use
- Discuss pricing and present the value of hearing health care, services, and long-term effects of hearing aid use
- Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals
- Teach patients how to best utilize new technology to meet their hearing goals
- Hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings; perform needed adjustments to fitted products per company quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Audiology or Hearing Aid Dispensing License in New York
- Doctorate in Audiology preferred, or a 3rd/4th year Audiology extern
- Passion for helping people rediscover hearing
- Strong communication and patient service mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
