About the Role The Hearing Ambassador assists the licensed dispenser, engages customers, educates individuals about hearing wellness, and schedules tests. This role supports growth through community outreach and relationship building at Hearing Aid Centers (HAC) and events. What You'll Do
- Have a working knowledge of all HAC products and services.
- Set the stage for full test, and full boat purchase when interacting with Members.
- Complete 30-50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
- Secure a minimum of 4 immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist in the center.
- Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products when Members without hearing loss; target a 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales.
- Learn and use the handheld screener (where allowed by state regulations) as an intercepting tool to qualify leads.
- Assist, when necessary, with calling past tested Members, with or without sales and medical referrals to schedule return visits.
- Promote HAC during Sam’s Club events and other HAC events, and possibly outside marketing events.
- Based in HAC, but spend approximately 95% of time walking the club, intercepting, and setting tests. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
- Experience working with PC hardware and software; general computer and Internet knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation abilities.
- Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred. Nice to Have
