Job title: Hearing Ambassador
About the Role The Hearing Ambassador supports licensed hearing aid dispensers by engaging customers, educating on hearing wellness, and scheduling tests. This role drives growth through community outreach and strong customer relationships while helping the center meet its daily goals.
What You'll Do
- Maintain working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center (HAC) products and services.
- Set the stage for testing and full purchase when interacting with Members.
- Complete 30–50 outbound calls daily to prospective or existing customers.
- Secure a minimum of 4 immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the center’s hearing care professionals.
- Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products when Members do not have hearing loss; a 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales is expected.
- Learn and use the handheld screener as an intercepting tool to qualify leads (as state regulations allow).
- Assist in contacting past tested Members for follow-up appointments as needed.
- Promote HAC at Sam’s Club events, Hearing Aid Center events, and other marketing events.
- Based in HAC but spend roughly 95% of time in clubs intercepting and setting tests.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
- Experience with PC hardware and software including general computer and Internet knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
- Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
