Slalom is seeking a part-time, temporary Healthcare Staffing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a hospital network client engagement. This individual will provide expertise in hospital staffing operations from the perspective of the health system, advise our consulting team, and participate in discussions with client executive leadership. The anticipated commitment is approximately 4–6 hours per week.
What You’ll Do

Provide guidance on hospital staffing operations, understanding of contracting labor within the health system, workforce management, and healthcare industry leading practices and challenges.

Participate in client meetings, including discussions with executive stakeholders.

Advise the consulting team on staffing processes, operational challenges, and industry-specific considerations.

Help translate client needs into practical recommendations.

Direct experience in hospital or health system staffing operations or workforce management.

Understanding of healthcare staffing models, processes, and operational challenges.

Experience engaging with hospital leadership and executive stakeholders.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This is an hourly role with a targeted pay rate of $350 to $400 per hour. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
