Gracebridge Children & Lifeline Health Foundation is a faith-led, non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children

GraceBridge is looking for healthcare professionals who want to use their skills to support vulnerable children, families and underserved communities through our community health outreach programmes.

Who We Are Looking For

• Doctors
• Nurses
• Midwives
• Optometrists and Opticians
• Pharmacists
• Community Health Workers
• Other qualified healthcare professionals

Key Responsibilities

• Community health outreaches

• Basic health screening and observations

• Health education and disease prevention

• Maternal and child health education

• Eye screening and visual health awareness

• Malaria testing and other approved screening activities

• Referral of individuals requiring further medical care

• Health support for vulnerable children and families

• Other approved GraceBridge community health activities

• All clinical activities must remain within your professional competence and GraceBridge safeguarding and clinical procedures.

Requirements

• Be based in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu or Imo State

• Be willing to participate in community health outreach activities

• Have relevant professional registration, qualifications or recognised healthcare training, where applicable

• Be professional, compassionate and committed to serving vulnerable communities

• Follow GraceBridge safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety procedures

• Provide appropriate identification and evidence of professional qualifications or registration where applicable

• This is an unpaid volunteer role.

• Reasonable expenses that are agreed and approved in advance will be reimbursed in line with GraceBridge’s volunteer expenses arrangements.
