About the Role The Healthcare Professional initiates prescribed respiratory therapy in the Medigas office or client homes, including assessment, education, documentation and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance. Promoting Medigas products and services to referral sources and providing educational in-services to medical and healthcare communities are integral parts of the role.

What You'll Do

• Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy in clients’ homes, including assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance.
• Deliver and exchange equipment at client homes; may involve lifting equipment up to 60 pounds.
• Travel to clients’ homes for in-home visits; some visits may require long-distance travel.
• Conduct in-office consultations with clients needing sleep and oxygen support.
• Train community partners on respiratory equipment to help others stay informed and skilled.
• Promote Medigas products and services to referral sources to build awareness and trust.
• Build and maintain strong, high-quality relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Maintain safety by performing duties in line with safety standards.
• Support training and development of new employees when needed.
• Participate in regular on-call rotation for additional support as required.

What We're Looking For

• RRT, or RN with current registration, or a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
• At least 2 years of related experience preferred; homecare and sales experience considered a strong asset.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
• Commitment to client and personal safety, and maintaining client confidentiality.
• Clear driving record and full vaccination against COVID-19 required.
