About this role

Job title: Health Provider Revenue Cycle Manager

About the Role Accenture is seeking a Health Provider Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and support revenue cycle transformations for complex provider organizations such as academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and large medical groups. This role requires deep, end-to-end knowledge of the revenue cycle—from patient access to back-end operations—and the ability to drive tangible value through execution and collaboration with client leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end Revenue Cycle engagements for complex, large-scale health care providers, with deep expertise across Patient Access (scheduling, registration, eligibility, prior authorization), Mid-Cycle/Revenue Integrity (charge description master, charge capture, clinical documentation improvement, coding), and Back-End Operations (billing, collections, denials management, underpayment recovery).
  • Reimagine and redesign revenue cycle operating models; lead workflow redesign, policy and procedure development, organizational and workforce realignment, and the design of key performance indicators and performance governance frameworks tied to net revenue improvement, denial rate reduction, and cash acceleration.
  • Identify and prioritize client value creation opportunities based on rigorous analysis, developing business cases and value propositions, benchmarking, and a clear-eyed view of performance gaps and strategic priorities.
  • Develop implementation plans and lead cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes on schedule, within budget, and against defined performance targets. Direct business pilots and client deployment activities and ensure planned outcomes are achieved and sustained after go-live.
  • Embed artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics into revenue cycle operations to drive measurable improvement, applying tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Python to surface revenue leakage, model financial scenarios, and target use cases including denials prediction, propensity-to-pay analytics, underpayment detection, prior authorization, and coding support.
  • Advise clients on payer contracting strategy, managed care optimization, and reimbursement model performance to address margin pressure and support the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care.
  • Help clients navigate a complex and evolving regulatory environment, including compliance with health privacy regulations, billing and coding requirements, obligations related to surprise billing, price transparency mandates, and prior authorization reform. Stand up or transition clients to managed services.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading revenue cycle transformations for complex health care providers (e.g., academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, large medical groups) with working knowledge across Patient Access, Mid-Cycle/Revenue Integrity, and Back-End Operations.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and cross-functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and drive action; able to manage up and across to keep clients aligned and workstreams on track.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to develop rigorous business cases, benchmark performance, and design operating models and key performance indicators linked to revenue improvements.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics in revenue cycle; experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Python to surface insights and support decisions.
  • Knowledge of payer contracting strategy, managed care optimization, and reimbursement model performance; experience with transitions to value-based care.
  • Ability to navigate a complex regulatory environment and to apply changes to client operations.
  • Commitment to developing people and building high-performing teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience applying artificial intelligence and automation in revenue cycle transformations.
  • Exposure to revenue cycle analytics and governance, and willingness to publish and share thought leadership.
  • Familiarity with value-based contracting and payer dynamics.
