About the Role
The UCSF School of Dentistry Education Programs Administrator oversees and manages the admissions process for our DDS/PhD program, the Cell and Tissue Biology PhD program, and the Research Fellowship Program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for DDS/PhD applicants, guiding them through application requirements, deadlines, interviews, and onboarding.
What You'll Do
- Oversee admissions processes for DDS/PhD, Cell and Tissue Biology PhD, and Research Fellowship Program
- Serve as primary point of contact for DDS/PhD applicants; guide them through requirements, deadlines, interviews, onboarding
- Review application materials for completeness; schedule interviews and assessments; maintain applicant records
- Collaborate with faculty, admissions committees, and administrative staff to ensure smooth admissions workflow
- Provide direct educational administrative support, student advising, and other functions for Oral and Craniofacial Sciences PhD and DDS/PhD programs
- Support Student Research Fellowship program and its learners and events
- Work with the Associate Dean of Education on special projects and educational initiatives at predoctoral and doctoral levels
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing admissions processes for advanced degree programs
- Strong communication and liaison skills with faculty, admissions committees, and administrative staff
- Ability to review application materials for completeness and maintain accurate records
- Ability to provide educational administrative support and student advising
- Experience coordinating interviews and onboarding
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to support multiple programs (DDS/PhD, PhD programs, Research Fellowship)
