Job Responsibilities
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing and dressing
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions to healthcare professionals
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients as needed
