About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine seeks a clinician to join as a headache physician. The appointment rank (Assistant/Associate) is open and will be commensurate with experience. The primary focus is outpatient clinical care with teaching opportunities for residents, fellows, medical students, and potential involvement in research.
What You'll Do Provide expert clinical care in headache medicine. Document findings, plan, and actions per departmental guidelines; maintain records and statistics; attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings. Collaborate within the academic medical center to support strategic initiatives, program development, and multidisciplinary care coordination; participate in continuous quality improvement. Engage in scholarly activities including clinical or translational research. Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students; contribute to the academic mission through formal instruction and clinical supervision. Other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with Board eligibility or Board certification in Neurology
- Active or eligible for a State of Ohio Medical License
- Completion of 12-month Headache fellowship training program
